Benefits at Morrison & Associates CPAs

Health & Wellness

Health Insurance

We offer Blue Cross Blue Shield health insurance for our employees and their immediate family.  Morrison & Associates subsidizes 85% of the premium cost for the employee and 31% of the premium cost for eligible dependents.

Dental Insurance

We offer Delta Dental.  The plan pays for 100% of routine care and 80% of restorative and preventive care.  Employee is responsible for all costs.

AFLAC Insurance

A variety of AFLAC insurance products are available for Personal Long-Term Care, Cancer Indemnity, Accident Indemnity, Personal Sickness Indemnity, Disability Income Protector, and more.

Flexible Spending Account

You may contribute up to $3,000 per year tax-free to cover qualified medical/dental expenses that are not covered under you (or your spouse's) health plan. 

Dependent Reimbursement Account

This plan helps you pay for child care services or care for a disabled dependent.  You may allocate up to $5,000 per year on a tax-free basis to this account to pay for these expenses.

Time Off

Vacation Policy

We encourage our employees to take time off to rest and relax, enjoy a vacation or attend to personal matters.  Eligible employees accrue vacation according to the following schedule (prorated for those working fewer than 40 hours per week):

2 weeks per year (under 6 years of service)

3 weeks per year (6+ years of service)

Personal Days

Want a day off for your birthday or a day for errands?  Two (2) personal days are granted each year.

Holidays

Our firm observes the following holidays each year:  New Years Day, April 16, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Sick Leave

Caring for the health of you and your family is important.  In addition to using sick leave due to illness or injury, Morrison & Associates employees may use their sick leave to go to doctor and dental appointments, care for a sick family member or take a family member for medical care.   Employees accrue 40 hours of sick leave per year on a prorated schedule. 

401K & Profit Sharing Plan

401k Plan

Saving for your retirement is easy.  You may make elective deferrals to a 401k account as soon as you join the Firm.

Profit Sharing Plan

Helping our employees save for retirement is important to Morrison & Associates, therefore we contribute on your behalf to the Morrison & Associates Profit Sharing Plan.  Contribution amounts may vary from year to year, but have averaged 6% of base salary.

Professional Development

Morrison & Associates encourages and supports efforts to receive your CPA license and pursue professional growth through continuing education.  We show our support by paying for CPA review classes and testing fees and awarding a passing bonus.

Morrison & Associates also pays the cost of CPE courses and affiliations to allow staff to maintain their license.
