All business owners with personal property in excess of $68,000.00 must file a Business Property Statement with the County assessor's office by April 2, 2012. Personal property is identified as property used for commercial, industrial, and agricultural purposes. Personal property includes certain leasehold improvements, but not software, vehicles licensed with the Motor Vehicle Dept. or certain goods and materials considered to be inventory.
